Films are now really boring

I gotta say when i watch new movies I yawn all the time as they are really boring.. full of violence and action these films are the most boring and pointless ever. In the past movies would try to depict something at least but nowadays the movies just are filled with special effects and no real substance making them really quite boring if I am honest... Im not a fan as you can see. Do you think that films have now lost the plots? Comment below if you do And tell me... I blame Hollywood and money grabbing shareholders who destroy creativity... I guess more people should make mini films as hobbies instead... that will give Hollywood a run for its money if normal people start making quite good and thought provoking films on a budget.. which is very possible!
